July 2004: Artist in Residence, An Tobar, Isle of Mull; producing seven sketchbooks based on his experiences of the island and its history.
Touring exhibition during 1993/4 on the theme of the River Tay, featured two artists Angus McEwan and Douglas Robertson, and two poets, Valerie Gillies and Harvey Holton.
The River Spirits show travelled to Inverness Museum and Art Gallery; Gracefield Art Centre, Dumfries; McLean Museum, Greenock; Netherbow Arts Centre, Edinburgh; Barrack Street Museum, Dundee; and the Balbardie Gallery, Bathgate.
Current Projects
Currently working on a collaboration with Donald S. Murray, 'The Guga Stone', which will appear as a book and an exhibition, around 2012 – 13
Collaboration project, with poet Isobel Dixon, creating a series of poems and assemblages based on a response to D.H. Lawrence’s ‘Birds, Beasts and Flowers’.
Film collaboration with artist Alastair Cook and poet Andrew Philip, based on Philip’s MacAdam series of poems.
Creating a series of assemblages 'Pocket Museums' which will be part of the ARTournament arts festival in Gloucester, 16th - 19th August 2012
Producing further collaboration pieces for poets Christine De Luca, Andrew Philip, Norman Bissell, David Cooke, and Robert Alan Jamieson, and Brian Holton which will be published and exhibited 2012 - 13
