Oh Beautiful One
Is it my imagination?
I think not …
You who were
Captured in marble
So exquisitely
Were then hidden
Away from all
Even from he
Who did the artwork
So jealous of your
Charms was your lover
He forbade anyone
Lay eyes upon
Them but he
Who felt he possessed
You, and them, for all-time
